Hawaii Island
Adult Care (HIAC) is a 501c3 Non-Profit organization that has served
East Hawaii
community since 1976. HIAC's purpose is to provide community
based care
for the daily life needs of frail elders, Alzheimer's patients, and
physically or
mentally challenged individuals, thus giving them the opportunity
to remain
living in their own homes, providing dignity and self-worth, and helping
them maintain
their independence as much as possible in the community. Preventing
premature
institutionalization into long-term care and providing much needed
respite
for
caregivers and the opportunity to continue employment are among the
HIAC goals
for the community.

We can help
you:
Go to work
with piece of mind, knowing
your loved
one is well cared for.
Keep your
family together for
as long as possible.
Cope with
the demands of caregiving.
Have time
for yourself.
